Foot print Analysis with Jamie

Hello, people today this post is about what we have been learning about this week so far. We have learned that you can tell the height of the person by their footprint. It only works for adults though. For a project, we had to dip our feet in water-based paint and stand on the paper and then the footprint came off and onto the paper.

There are four things you can use to identify a person by their footprints. Things like cracks, cuts or a  stone stuck in the bottom of the shoe. It can help identify the height of the footprint. The other thing is the pattern of the footprint.

Summary of Forensics

Hello people today's post is about a summary of what we have done this week in our new hurmanu/Forensics. This week so far we have been learning about evidence and how people can solve a crime. When we first started this class with a site that we had to try to solve a crime. The next day we had to learn about evidence and how it is used to prove a crime scene and the next day we had to write a summary which is this.

What are Forensic scientists: Forensic science, also known as criminalistics, is the application of science to criminal and civil laws, mainly—on the criminal side—during criminal investigation, as governed by the legal standards of admissible evidence and criminal procedure.

Why do we need Forensic Scientists? Forensic scientists apply scientific knowledge and skills to investigating crimes and helping the police find or eliminate crime suspects. They may also do research into developing or improving forensic techniques.

What are some of the jobs they do?

  • Crime scene attendants.
  • Fingerprint officers.
  • Behavioural analysts.
  • Electronic crime analysts.
  • Document examiners.
  • Scene of crime officers.

What type of evidence do they collect: The most common biological evidence found at crime scenes are body fluids (eg blood, saliva). The surface on which they are deposited determines the collection and packaging procedure to be carried out. Wet stains are always air-dried before packaging can take place.

Is it a crime- Forensics

Hello, people, who can be bothered to read this today we are doing Forensics in class.  We have to figure out if something is a crime or not.

1. This stick man is opening a door but if have to figure out if he is breaking in or not, or I could just guess. So by the looks of it, I think he owns the car and he's just opening the door but it looks sus either way.

2. Someone is been run over and the driver is not stooping so I think it's a crime aka hit and run.

3. There is a person wid a hat on and he has a bag of money and he's running so I think its sus because if he was the bank owner moving money he would not be running so I think it is a crime.

4. There is a person on a bed dead with a poison sign so I reckon she has killed herself wid poison because there is no one else in the room.

5. There is a person that looks like he has been stabbed so it is a crime scene.

6 There are two cars crashing so I reckon someone is wrong and caused a crash so I think it is and not a crime scene it's hard to tell.

Sceince report.

Aim: To draw the electrical circuit of the house.

Method: The method we used was to draw a house on a piece of paper with light bulbs in each room depending on how many rooms we had.

Results: I learned how many volts there were but then forgot after the next day.

Discussion: What does Voltage mean: Voltage, electric potential difference, electric pressure or electric tension is the difference in electric potential between two points, which is defined as the work needed per unit of charge to move a test charge between the two points.

Electromotive force,

What does current mean: An electric current is a stream of charged particles, such as electrons or ions, moving through an electrical conductor or space. It is measured as the net rate of flow of electric charge through a surface or into a control volume

Conclusion: We made a circuit using our house and I forgot some stuff but yeah that's it.

Human rights

Hello Guys, girls and attack helicopters. This post is about human rights. I have written/improvised on black lives matter. Down below is a little tiny essay about black lives matter. It's only a little because Mr carter forgot we finish soon. So he should get a life.

Click here to find the link to my short essay.

Black Lives Matter is a phrase, and notably, a hashtag used to highlight racism, discrimination and inequality experienced by black people.

Its use grew in the US after high-profile killings by police, but it has also been used in the UK and elsewhere.

Supporters point to the fact that black people are much more likely to be shot by police in the US. They say that in the US and many other countries, they also suffer many other forms of discrimination.

They want action to address unequal treatment and oppression that goes all the way back to the era of slavery, but which continues today.

In term 3 we learned about Parihaka we did a slide on it below is what we did.
