Kia ora This week for science this week we are learning about Forensics.  What it basically is how the Police find the person. It's like what they do to foot prints.  So whe there is a foot print left from the person there looking for they take a photo and when they figger out how how it is buy size hight and other things.   For the exsperment we had to get in groups of 3 or two so I went with Ruavai my finger print was a whorl and Ruavais was a arch.  The top one is a arch and the bottom one is a whorl.  What we did was we got and inc pad and what we did was put our thum on the inc pad then we got a ballo then we preesed it to to the ballo and it showed what our finger print looked like.  Blog you later.

NASA ROVER

Kia ora bloggers today fro science we are learing about space rover and what they are.

Name: Rover	Purpose: To Exsplore space
Wheels	Six
Solar Panel	The fan-like solar panels are specially designed for Mars' weak sunlight, caused by the planet's distance from the Sun and its dusty, thin atmosphere.
Laser	The laser is able to point at the sand to see whats in it.  They use it also to anlyis it to.
Camera	The cam is to see whats around the land and send it to earth for people to see and if they see something interisting they can go over there and ifestergate.
Shovel, rock pick,drill	They use these tools to iverstergate things in soiel.

Comunity impact project.

Kia ora today we are going to plant some seeds.  But berfore we do this we have to tidy up the area and find the seeds and that grow in this seson.  We will put in groups of four or five for this.  Here are the ones that I  want to plant:

1: Broccoli and Cauliflower.
2: Carrots
3: Onions
4: Strawberry
5: Snow peas
6 Radishes

Kia ora bloggers today for comunity imapact projects we went over to the compost and tiyded it up we piked up the rubish raked up the sticks and rubish and other rubish and trimed the trees back.  All the year seven and eights went and piked plums of our plum tree because we are going to make some plum jam and some other things people come up with like pies and others.

Borax
What you need...

1 How water
2 Borax
3 A peg
4 three pipe cleaners
5 A cup

What to do..

 first you make the pipe cleaners into a star then you put the borak in the cup then pour the hot water into the cup aswell then click the peg into the star and put in side ways.  Then what for a day or two for results...

Sugar 

Materials:

1: Sugar
2: how water
3: one pipe cleaner
4: cup
5: And spoon

Process
step 1 Put sugar in the cup.
step 2 Pour water in cup
step 3 Stir the sugar and water.
step 4 Clip the peg on top of the pipe cleaner
step 5 Then put pipe cleaner in the cup.
step 6 Wait a day or two for results.

Salt

Materials:
1: salt
2 : cup
3 : Hot water
4: spoon
5: one pipe cleaner

Process
1: put he salt in the cup
2 : pour water in cup
3: stir the water and salt.
4: get the peg and clip in on to the pipe cleaner and put in cup of water.

Kia ora bloggers toady we have been doing some thing called community imapct project it's about basic thinky about things we want in our school because we are getting our school rebulit one of our teachers has chosen 7 people to part of group.  What this group is about is that we are thinking of ideas for our school as it gets rebulit.  As being part of this group we had to do planing on a piece of paper here's mine...

Dirty water science exsperimint steps.

Kia Ora bloggers today during period 3 me and my group did a science exsperimint here's are the steps.

 Aim: Try to make your bottle leak. The leak is the best.


These are the items you need for your science experiment
Materials
1. Sand
2. Bottle
3. Pebbles
4.Dirty Water
5.filter

Process
Step:1 Cut the bottle open in the centre  and get rid of sticker

Step:2 Get the filter and make it into a cone then put it at the top of the bottle that you cut of.

Step:3: Then pour sand into the filter and pat it down softly

Step: 4 get half a cup of pebbles and pour on top of the sand

Step: 5 Then get a cup of dirty water and pour over the pebbles.

Results:

The water should slowly drip in the bottom of the bottle..

If the water pours in fast you may have done something wrong.
