My writing for 2017

My writing for 2017

This is my writing it is about Scatterball here is the google doc blog you later.

How to play Scatterball!
We are learning to… write a procedure.
Purpose - Inform - Teach others how to play a game
Audience - Blog and other kids in the school

Instructions
Create instructions for how to play a game at lunchtimes.
Remember the following things we talked about!

  • Structure - introduction to the game, materials, steps in order,  let the reader know how to win or when the game is over.
  • What will make a player want to play this game? Your introduction needs to make it sound fun!
  • Present tense - remember, we are writing about something that is happening in the moment
  • Action verbs - start each step with an action verb.
  • CHECK YOUR WORK. Have you included all of the above?

Introduction: A description of the game you are going to explain.
Scatterball
Body: Instructions or steps for how to play the game - start each one with an action verb.
How to play is we have two teams one thors the balls when the person throws the ball he has to run before the other team catches the ball and puts it in the bucket.   The things we needed was a bucket and three balls and two  teams.  The balls are in the bucket we are throwing them away from the other team.  This helps you work as a  team.
Conclusion: What to do when the game is over? How do you know you have won?
Because your team has put all the balls in the bucket.

Paste your full procedure here from your plan:

  1. Hey Shikarn, Miss M here. This sounds like an awesome game. I like the way you have separated the paragraphs and included a diagram. Maybe next time you could take a video of the game so we can see it! Also, it would be good to have steps to follow.
